Farzana Kazmi-
Mother, Wife, Entrepreneur, Social Activist for the poor, a dynamic , religious and amazing leader.
Killed in a bomb blast in Karachi-Pakistan on December 28th. 2009
Farzana was the World Women Trade Fair Affiliate Representative for Karachi-Pakistan.Her passion and inspiration was helping and working with local artisans to improve the quality of their life by promoting and selling their handicrafts in Export Markets .
In her own words"- I work with local artisans, and my aim is to promote Pakistani products and find a new market abroad..."Farzana Kazmi.
Her Faith and Religion was very important to her and this , she used to held the poor, by taking meals to them and helping them to have access to basic necessities. She was killed on the day of Ashura, holiest day of her Muslim Shia Faith. She was taking food to the poor when her life was caught short by a bomb blast, she died in the hospital while receiving treatment.
Farzana Kazmi was the founder and CEO of SEI-M International, a design, apparel and accessories firm in Karachi Pakistan, exporting to South East Asian countries. At the time of her death, she was already exploring new export markets in the UK, EU, and the USA.
Farzana Kazmi leaves behind her husband Shaukat Kazmi, four (4) children Eemaan the oldest( a dentist) , who is presently operating SEI-M Internattional. Mariha, Ifrah and Sajjad.
We miss her energy, fun, laughter, kindness and good sense of humor.
