The Women of Nouvelle-Bridge Rwanda weave these beautiful baskets to support themselves and their families.

    "Nouvelle-Bridge"

Nouvelle(New) in French is a Rwandan skills development and income generating project founded by Janvier Rutayisire to provide skills training and employment opportunities to women and young girls.

70% of the Rwandan population after the genocide are women who are now left to take care of themselves and their children. Janvier Rutayisire was in Kenya when the genocide took place and his family members were killed .

Nouvelle-Bridge is a "new bridge" to building a new  future of PEACE.

In addition to skills training and employment opportunities,Nouvelle-Bridge also provide services to the local community:-HIV/AIDS education, feading , clothing and education of orphan children.
