“We are very proud of the progress that has been made by BID Network to launch a Business Plan Challenge Competition with a focus on Women,” Margaret Galabe, Executive Director, World Women Trade Fair, said. “BID Network has since 2005,launched 5 (five) successful Business Plan Challenges and we invite all women entrepreneurs to enter this Special Women in Business Challenge Competition.”    

The “Women in Business” Challenge aims to support women entrepreneurs by providing them with the assistance, contacts and finances to get their business started. Presently only 23% of BID NetWork’s business proposals are from women entrepreneurs, hence a special “Women in Business” Challenge.(www.bidnetwork.org/women) The mission of BID Network is to “contribute to structural economic growth by stimulating entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
